Sue Bryant, B.A.

Sue Bryant is a Fort Worth native and veteran teacher who has taught children to read for over twenty years. She currently leads a team of kindergarten teachers at an Exemplary Title 1 school in White Settlement ISD where she was chosen as the district elementary teacher of the year in 2001.

She is dedicated to second language learners and children of poverty having pioneered the kindergarten dual language program for the White Settlement ISD and continues to serve as a member of the district's dual language team. She frequently shares her knowledge about how to develop excellent dual language kindergarten programs with other Texas public school districts. Sue believes that the gift of reading provides Title 1 children with the opportunities for a better life and strives to offer that to every child she touches.

She has also served as a mentor teacher for countless TCU student teachers by reaching out to them as they develop a love for teaching children to read. Sue and her husband, an elementary school principal, are active in their community serving the needs of children. Sue is the proud mother of three adult children.
