Anna Hurd, M.Ed.

One of Anna's greatest passions is helping children with special needs reach success as students, readers, and valued members of our society. Her favorite thing is seeing struggling readers begin to develop confidence in their abilities and a love of reading. Whether it's working as a caregiver, tutor, paraeducator, teacher, or reading specialist, Anna loves children. She recently graduated with her M.Ed. from the University of Washington in special education and reading.

Anna and her husband moved to Fort Worth from Washington State in August, 2010. Anna loves baking any and every kind of bread, music, walking, and spending time with her amazing husband, who is currently attending Brite Divinity School at TCU. Anna is excited about current and future teaching opportunities in the Fort Worth area!
