Formal Dyslexia Assessment

We are able to test and provide a formal dyslexia assessment that includes all areas required by the State of Texas in the 2007 Dyslexia Manual. The formal assessment uses norm referenced tools and includes assessments of:

• phonological awareness;
• phonological memory;
• rapid naming;
• decoding of real and nonsense words;
• spelling;
• oral and silent reading comprehension;
• writing;
• math computation;
• written expression;
• listening comprehension;
• reading rate;
• reading accuracy.
