Math Assessment and Intervention

All incoming math clients receive a math intake assessment that qualitatively measures:

• Math Calculation
• Math Reasoning
• Math Fluency
• Problem Solving Capability

An Assessment Report will be provided within two weeks of the initial assessment date. This report includes an analysis of strengths and weaknesses as well as a plan for intervention.

All incoming clients are asked to bring any prior diagnostic testing, school report cards and work samples.

Math Intervention

Math Intervention sessions are 45 minute, one-on-one sessions with a certified Math Specialist. Math intervention activities are tailored to meet the specific needs of each client and are based on the math intake assessment. At-home assignments are given to compliment each math intervention session. We utilize a variety of tools including hands-on, multisensory instruction. All materials are provided.
